TERRY KIM

Alice's enchanting concept derives from the story of "Alice in Wonderland." The bar opened in late April 2016 but has already been placed in Asia’s 50 Best Bars. Located in an underground space in the trendsetting area of Cheongdam-dong, southern Seoul, hospitality takes precedence here - visitors instantly feel at home with a welcome sorbet and snacks of dried fruit and vegetables on sitting.

Kim formerly worked at The Griffin Bar at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul and the JJ Mahoney's at the Grand Hyatt Seoul before creating his own establishment. The dapper bartender/owner is also winner of the Best Bartender title by the Korea Bartenders' Guild in 2015 and 2016. Additionally, he won second place for the Diageo World Class Reserve 2012 in South Korea.
